Who

Who responded to each type of call?

Here, we can see the what types of calls each battalion responds to. A batallion is an organizaitonal structure within the fire deparment, consisting of a fire chief, engine company, truck company, and group of firefighters linked to a geographical location. There can be multiple fire stations within a batallion. For example, B03 is located in South Beach while B02 is located by the Civic Center in downtown. These are the two battalions that responded the most calls. The majority of the calls that all of the battalioins respond to are medical incidents. This is expected because of all calls made in December of 2016, the majority were for Medical Incidents. To learn more, check the battalion area on the map below or visit the SFFD station list.
