This visualization shows the number and type of fire department calls for each day in December, highlighting both which incidents are most common and which days saw a higher rate of incidence occurrence. As seen throughout the dataset, Medical Incidents dominated the number of records by call type, followed by Alarms, Fires, and Traffic Collisions. The date with both the lowest number of Medical Incidents and lowest total number of incidents was December 25th, Christmas Day.

This visualization shows the average number of calls received per hour for a day in December. Calls are more common during daylight hours, peaking at 4 pm with an average of 1,211 calls. Calls begin to drop off around 8 pm, dropping precipitously again at 2 am to reach an average low of 460 calls at 5 am.
