Inspiration for this visualization: Champion Presence and Performance
This visualization shows the each of champion's performance during the regular season. The pick rate is not just the ratio of the times a champion was picked and the total games; the number of times that the champion was banned was taken in consideration. Each bubble represents a champion and the color encoding is based on the number of times that a champion is banned so that means if a bubble has a darker color and a high pick rate, that champion is getting picked a lot every time that the champion is open. That makes them a priority pick. We can see that some of these champions who have a high priority have good win rates which makes sense since a reason that a champion is banned is because he/she is considered good or even "OP" in the current meta. Hovering over the bubbles will show a tooltip showing the champion name, times banned and its win and pick rates.
